I was having a conversation with a friend and was deliberating on why people don’t achieve their new year set goals. We examined some set goals we couldn’t accomplish, and guess what, it was a result of a false start.

We have witnessed many new years, and have had many new year resolutions and goals that die off in the first quarter of the year, but now what can we do differently in 2023 that will unlock our greatness?

Most of us have set goals for ourselves in 2023, but critically look at it again, and you will observe that it’s not a worthy goal. It doesn’t excite nor challenge you and It does not positively serve the community around you.

Making a difference, in 2023 won’t be child’s play, you need to start well by setting a Worthy Goal that is so deserving of your energy, time, and attention.

Make sure your goal is thrilling, let it resonate with you, and excite whoever you will share it with.

Let the goal be very important in your life, as your life depends on it. Let it contribute positively to others around you either on a small scale or a large scale.

Let it be daunting, while it excites you, it should also challenge and stretche your talents and capabilities, pushing you to work beyond your comfort zone.

So, make sure you are not starting this year falsely, ask questions; “How do I start?” “How do I do things that matter?” How do I channel my talents and ambition to enhance not just my life but also those around me?

Take your time and spell out the level of commitment, time, energy, and resources you are willing to devote to your worthy goal.

For me, having a clear idea about how to start small on your worthy goal, creating reliable and sustainable processes around it, and massively committing to achieving them makes you a winner in 2023.

Think about it.
