Last night, I had a conversation with one of my team members who will turn 25 in 2025. As we talked, I told him something that hit hard:
“You might remain broke in 2025 if you don’t start learning how to manage and multiply money.”
He looked at me, surprised. So I broke it down:
“You’ve spent years in school studying how to earn money, and now you’re earning. But have you spent even 250 days learning how to manage or grow that money?”
He paused for a moment, then admitted he hadn’t.
Why Many Stay Broke
This is the reality for so many people. No matter how hard they work or how much they earn, they remain broke because they don’t understand how money works.
Earning money is just one part of the equation. The real secret to financial freedom lies in learning how to:
- Keep it
- Protect it
- Make it grow
If you don’t know how to increase your income, budget, save, or invest, you’ll always be running out of money and missing opportunities to multiply what you have.
Most people spend their entire lives chasing money but never take the time to learn how to protect and control it. They know how to work for money, but not how to make money work for them.
Make 2025 Different
Thank God you’re still reading this. If you don’t want to be in the same financial position year after year, you need to make a change.
Commit to studying money. Even if it’s just 15 to 30 minutes a day, the knowledge you gain can transform your financial future.
Here’s where to start:
- Learn About Income Streams
Don’t rely on just one source of income. Diversify through side hustles, investments, or passive income streams. - Master Budgeting
Track your spending and ensure you’re living below your means. A budget doesn’t restrict you; it gives you clarity and control. - Understand Savings and Investments
Saving is crucial, but investing is how you grow wealth. Learn about stocks, real estate, and other opportunities to multiply your money. - Take Small Steps
You don’t need to know everything at once. Start with the basics—read one financial book, take an online course, or listen to a podcast on money management.
My Journey
I shared my own experience with my team member. When I started, I studied books like Rich Dad, Poor Dad and The Richest Man in Babylon. I listened to financial podcasts, watched YouTube videos, observed my mentors, and took online courses.
The little things I learned added up. Over time, I began to see opportunities I hadn’t noticed before. My confidence in making financial decisions grew, and so did my wealth.
What About You?
If you don’t change how you approach money, nothing will change in 2025. Say “God forbid!”
You’ll work hard, earn money, and still struggle to make ends meet. But if you commit to learning just 15 to 30 minutes a day, you’ll gain the tools to build a future where you control your finances—not the other way around.
Let me leave you with this question:
Have you spent as much time learning about money as you have earning it? If not, what will you do differently in 2025?
I’m still your favorite Billionaire Mechanic who doesn’t ignore wealth principles. Let’s make 2025 the year you take charge of your financial future.
